If your students use an alarm clock, carry an umbrella, or look both ways before they cross the street, then they use risk management on a very basic level. But, they probably don’t know what “risk management” really is. Use this LAP to help your students learn what risk management is, how it is used in the business world, categories of risk, and processes that organizations utilize to manage the many risks that they face every day.

LAPs are comprehensive instructional packages that include all elements of a performance-oriented lesson plan.
